Rite Aid finds from Lemonade Connection friends!

My coupon friends are all over the place right now, snagging deals left and right!  Here's a few Rite Aid deals that you may want to be on the look out for in your own area.

Picture 19 Mary just alerted us to this deal:

Rite Aid has the GE Reveal bulbs 2/$6 with a $2 rebate plus a $2 bonus rebate (this week only for the bonus), there are also 3/7 SS $1/1 coupons making the end result 2 pkgs for free.

Doreen just snapped up this set of goodies:

Rite-Aid...Combat ant traps on sale for $4.99 (actually not such a great price since Home Depot sells them at regular price for $4.97) but..... $2.00 off coupon from Here plus...get this....I had a wellness+ coupon that had printed at the bottom of one of my past receipts for $1.00 off a "seasonal" item priced $1.99 or higher.  So, I read between the lines as "ants are seasonal...right! ?" I told as much to the cashier and she said "what the heck, let's try it" and it worked.  So I got that down to $1.99.

And did the Kotex U deal!

Thank you to Mary and Doreen!

She just cleaned out CVS for under $3.00!

I told you all yesterday, in my video, about my great group of friends...who are insanely great with coupons.  So my friend Maria emails me this just minutes ago...see why I love these gals so much?

IMG_5411"I was in CVS this morning to pick up a couple of things. I was not planning on doing this deal today, but I had the right coupons!

There is a new rebate for Olay where you buy $50 in Facial moisterizers, cleansers, etc. you get back $20.  (Click here for more info on that!)

When I walked into CVS, I scanned my Extra Care Card to see what coupons may come out. I got a $5 off $40 coupon! That was exciting. I did not think I was using it today.

CVS' deal on Olay was to purchase $25 of Olay moisterizers and creams get $10 Extra Care Bucks (ECBs). Of course, the lowest sale price on these items is $18.99, but then I started thinking. I had a special coupon from P&G that I just got in the mail to replace a Regenerist product for me and it was good for ANY amount on a Regenerist product!

This is the deal I did:

Bought 3 Olay moisterizers for $18.99 each (this was enough to complete the deal).
Bought 1 Facial cleanser 9.99
Bought 1 Body wash $9.49

Used: $18.99 "special coupon"
Used: 2 of the $3.00 Regenerist coupons
Used the Buy Regenerist, get body wash free $9.49
Used the Buy Regenerist get facial cleanser free $9.99
Used the $5/$40 CVS coupon printed at the kiosk in the store.

Total Products: $76.45 + 6.21 tax = $82.66
less coupons: $49.47 = $32.19
less $10 ECB = $22.19
less $20 Mail in Rebate = $2.19 FINAL COST

(ok, factor in the .44 stamp, that would make it $2.53 for 5 products that retailed $76.45!!)"

Now THAT's how to make Serious Lemonade!

Have you seen the Rite-Aid Coupon booklet?

My friend Sandy sent an Be On the Look-out alert today for the following:

Today at Rite Aid I found a free-standing display with coupon books for allergy medications containing $11 in manufacturer coupons.  The coupons are all high-value ($2 and $3) off Zyrtec, Visine, Benadryl, Sudafed, and Tylenol sinus.  Use them at Walgreens to take advantage of their $5 RR wyb 2 or more products, and/or use at Rite Aid for their gift card offer (in the SCR book).  Could be some major savings there!

Thank you Ultimate Savings Sandy!

Can you really make Lemonade from Quaker Cereal?

Success in saving with coupons, is invigorating!  There is no two ways about it.  You collect your coupons, sort them, file them away and wait for a deal that blows you away.  When you find that deal, it pretty much sends you over the moon.  In those moments, its really fun to be able to share your success with other people who strive to maximize a deal.   You know...someone who understand the full gravity of what you have accomplished.

I have been blessed enough to be a part of a group in my area...when we find a deal, we often post it in email to each other and the stories of success are nearly as monumental to us... as a victory in the midst of a war!

Through this group, I met my friend Maria, who has been max-saving with coupons for many years and frankly, is one of the best deal finders I know.   She has mad skills with scoping out a deal, and being able to whittle it down to nothing.  Keeping her out of pocket costs so low, it inspires the greatest savers.

Today, Ms. Maria shared one of her truly extraordinary deals done recently (common happenings for her truthfully) and I am so happy that she did.   I know you'll be inspired too!

Quaker Cereal Deal

by Maria (and the little precious face of her baby in the boxes!)

IMG_5406"About a month ago (time flies!) A&P had a Quaker Sale where you bought 7 items for $7.77.  You had to buy 7 in one transaction.   I made two transactions each the same.  I bought 7 boxes of Quaker cereals and used 7 $1 coupons. (Yes, that's right, I had 14 $1 off Quaker coupons!)

In the end I had picked up 14 boxes of cereal for $1.54!!!!"

Wondering how she snagged 14 coupons?  Or have questions?  Feel free to leave them or comments below.

Thank you Maria!
